Where Field Players Showcase Their Impact!
Field Wars Ink, a Division of Keeper Wars Ink™, is a soccer competition initiative designed and built for field players. Inspired by Dutch competition and training methodologies, this unique 4v4 tournament allows field players to sign up individually and compete on different teams throughout the event. The concept behind this format is to identify the players who make the most impact on a team by watching them rise to the top of the player pool, throughout the event weekend.
The Genesis of Field Wars Ink
When we launched Keeper Wars Ink™ in January of 2020, the excitement and support we received from the keeper community was astounding! Due to the incredible welcoming and backing of our partners and families across the country, a National platform and Community was born. In creating and delivering a network of support, education, training and competition, we found what the goalkeeper position truly needed…Support! And from that, a much needed Keeper Family was born. A community of those brave enough to put on the gloves and of those that anxiously cheer for them from the sidelines. 🧤
Field Wars allows us to give back to the field players in a similar manner.
The uniqueness of an individual entry event, is that it gives players the ability to focus on the game they love, without the pressure from their coach or teammates that is felt during team league or tournament games.
It has been exciting to watch the keepers gain confidence, develop their skills and build friendships! We believe a similar field player community will come to life through our individualized field player platform.
We are thrilled to bring Field Wars to the huge soccer community across the United States and make this something that all can come out and enjoy!
THE BENEFITS OF 4V4 PLAY
The high intensity of the 4v4 Field Wars game forces players to think on their feet, be creative, work together as a unit, develop appreciation for all positions; defense and offense, learn the importance of head up visual, movement, spacing, flow of the game, etc. and allow them the opportunity to test & develop their skills under pressure, in a fun environment!
The Field Wars scoring system is not based on how many goals individuals score or stop but on how well the team does when you are with them!
